A little trivia.
A $25 Amazon gift card.
Play on Monday and Thursday, 7–9 p.m. New York time. The schedule includes holiday breaks and cancellations.
One account. One answer.
Sign in with your email to play and save your points. Your first accepted answer is final. You’ll see feedback right away; earned points finalize after the round closes.
Quiz texting is coming soon. Once it is available, you’ll verify and link your phone to this same account. Answering on the website and by text will count only once.
How points work
- A correct answer earns 5 points.
- Any answer before closing keeps your participation streak going, even if it is incorrect.
- Earn 25 bonus points at 4 consecutive quizzes, 50 at 8, and 100 at 12. Earn another 100 at 20, 28, 36, and each further 8 consecutive quizzes.
- A missed quiz or a new program year resets the streak. Cancelled quizzes and holiday breaks do not.
- Earn one 500-point season bonus by answering the number of scheduled season quizzes minus 10. The season must have more than 10 quizzes. The target follows the published schedule until earned; gaps and incorrect answers are allowed.
Who wins the gift card?
Each round offers a $25 Amazon gift card for an eligible Monmouth student. Correct answers are ordered by when the server receives them. The system starts with the seventh correct answer, counting all correct responses in that order.
If the seventh responder is ineligible, it checks the eighth, ninth, and onward. If there are fewer than seven correct answers, or nobody from seventh onward qualifies, it proposes the first eligible correct responder. If nobody qualifies, no prize is awarded.
A winner waits six calendar weeks (42 days in New York time), measured from that quiz’s closing time, before winning again. You can keep playing and earning points during the wait.
Winners are reviewed before announcement
Rabbi Yaakov reviews the proposed winner and confirms eligibility. He can skip a candidate or select another eligible correct responder before approval. Only the approved winner’s name appears in the results; private review notes stay private. Prize decisions do not remove earned quiz points.
Participation is free. Questions about eligibility or collecting a gift card? Email Rabbi Yaakov.
